After a seven-year courtship and a one-year engagement, Emily Perryman of San Antonio and Brett Hall of Amarillo were recently married in San Antonio. Both attended Southern Methodist University, and they now happily reside in Houston where Emily works as a Pilates instructor and Brett works as an investment banking associate at Richardson Barr. This wedding was one of the grandest affairs of the year, with the beauty in its delectable details.
The wedding excitement began with the rehearsal dinner at the Southwest School of Art in San Antonio. One hundred guests came to kick-start the joyous occasion in which the couple would embark upon their special journey. Esteemed guests in attendance included the bride’s family: Kristin LaRue Perryman and Nancy Adams Perryman & Wendy Stieren Wirth and Thomas Anthony Wirth as well as the groom’s family: Robert Wayne Hall and Kristi Hall & Robin Worth Weir and David Weir.
With the help of wedding planner Wilkinson Rhodes, the special day was created with the ceremony at Christ Episcopal Church in San Antonio and the reception at the McNay Museum. Guests relished watching the breathtaking bride say “I do” while wearing a Monique Lhullier Platinum dress, Christain Louboutin shoes thoughtfully gifted from her mother-in-law Robin Weir, and a gold Cartier Love bracelet from her elated mother.
A truly decadent atmosphere was established for the bride and groom to tie the knot and celebrate, with a blue and white porcelain theme to the celebrations. Once the wedding ceremony was over, the delighted couple and thrilled guests enjoyed listening to Professor D for entertainment while making dining selections from a delectable array of options. The reception was adorned with extraordinary ice sculptures, and an exquisite twenty-five foot French bulldog floral arrangement to attest to the couple’s affection for French bulldogs, especially their own pair of Francophone pups, Caper and Lucy.
The reception at the McNay Museum was simply lavish. Animated guests danced the night away, and the darling ring bearers showed off some fancy dance moves on the dance floor, adding another point of excitement to the evening. The celebration continued with an after party that lasted until 2:00 a.m. featuring DJ Lucy Wrubel from Dallas. Shortly after the reception, the two headed off to Turks and Caicos for a romantic honeymoon, where they plan to bask in the sun and in each other’s company.
The Hall duo is enjoying all that life has in store for them in Houston as newlyweds. The couple loves to sit on their deck and cook together since the groom is quite the chef, and the two especially love sushi. Additionally, the couple is adventurous: they plan to travel to Africa, Spain, and the Mediterranean. We look forward to see what wonderful things the future has in store for the Halls and their family.
