3rd Annual Mack, Jack & McConaughey Raises $1.5 Million For Children’s Charities

THE SCENE: Some of Austin’s most sought after destinations including ACL Moody Theatre, Spanish Oaks Country Club and The W Hotel hosted two days of star-studded spectacularness for the third annual Mack, Jack & McConaughey gala events. Even Jimmy Kimmel, host of ABC’s late night show, appeared among an eclectic mix of A-List Hollywood celebrities, Austin Sociables and top country acts.

THE VIBE: The festivities kicked off with a concert at ACL Moody Theatre where the sold out crowd was treated to musical performances by Little Big Town and headliner Toby Keith. The fun continued the following day at The W Hotel as Neiman Marcus partnered with the MJ&M Wives – Sally Brown, Amy Ingram and Camilla McConaughey – for a fashion show that featured the works of acclaimed designer Milly. Meanwhile Mack Brown, Jack Ingram and Matthew McConaughey hosted the gents, who took to the links for a fun round of golf at Spanish Oaks Country Club. Then the festivities concluded back at the W where Jack Ingram hosted a “Jack and Friends” concert capping off two fun filled days those lucky enough to attend will not soon forget.

THE CAUSE: The gracious hosts extended a Texas-sized welcome to both local sociables as well as A-List Hollywood performers, making everyone feel welcome and creating a fun and friendly vibe that was contagious to guests. The two days raised an impressive $1.5M for various children’s charities including The Rise School of Austin, just keep livin Foundation, HeartGift, CureDuchenne and Dell Children’s Medical Center of Central Texas.
