Adding a dashing touch to Labor Day weekend in San Antonio, Kuper Sotheby’s International Realty hosted an exclusive event at a private home in the Dominion that showcased an exquisite line of classic and modern timepieces up for auction in December at Sotheby’s auction house in New York City. Four generations of the Kuper family greeted guests, creating a friendly and inviting environment for all.

Binkan Cinaroglu, JP Martin, Jim Hauglid, Susan Hallmark and Theodora Kaufman were few among many Kuper Sotheby’s International Realty agents who were enthusiastic to entertain while guests examined unique watches from Sotheby’s. When asked about the event, Rick Kuper stated, “Our clients are the best of San Antonio and beyond, and we are pleased to acknowledge them with this spectacular event.” Kuper also said that, “Sotheby’s is a name that stands for luxury and sophistication and this exhibit was just that.”

Sotheby’s watch expert Katharine Thomas presented the exhibit of 22 classic and modern pieces, including a 1950 Patek Philippe 18K Pink Gold Chronograph Wristwatch with an estimate worth of up to $60,000.00. The Sotheby’s watch department offers some of the most significant timepieces in the world from the 16th to the 21st centuries, including pocket watches, wrist watches, tourbillons and perpetual calendars. It holds the auction record for any timepiece with a Patek Philippe, which sold for more than $11 million. The following day, Ms. Thomas took appointments for personal watch evaluations at the Kuper Sotheby’s International Realty Dominion Office.
