How does our style expert Erin Busbee stay on trend and on the fashion edge? There is really no ‘typical’ day for founder, Erin Busbee. One day she is in her home office in Boerne, taping style videos for her YouTube channel, writing fashion blogs, and selecting products for our “Acquire” section in The Society Diaries. The next… she is styling a photo shoot, a commercial, or teaching wardrobe basics to a group of professional women. Most recently, she was shooting videos for a Clinique campaign in New York.

“Reason number #1025 why I love what I do… it is never boring,” says Busbee. She moved to Texas in 2009, after meeting and marrying a Texan in New York City. “It was quite an adjustment moving from the upper West Side in Manhattan to the Texas Hill Country… both culturally and professionally. But, now I love it. The weather, the schools, the people… I can’t think of a better place to raise a family,” she confides.

The fresh start also provided Busbee with the perfect opportunity to launch her style consulting business. “The business was always in the back of my mind in New York, but I was so nervous about leaving my full-time job. With the love and support of my husband, I was able to finally take the leap.”

When she jumped in, she never looked back. Busbee shares her regular style expertise on the TV show, San Antonio Living, has appeared nationally on Good Morning America, too. She has written style pieces for powerhouse women like Tyra Banks ( and Maria Shriver (, and worked with major brands like Hallmark, Jergens, and global cosmetic giant, JAFRA.

“I started by doing one-on-one sessions with clients, and occasionally I still work with women individually, but I realized that in order to grow and help more women, I needed to build my online brand and business.”

And, Busbee’s brand is growing. She now reaches tens of thousands of women through her TV appearances, blog, You Tube channel, and myriad social media outreach
