THE SCENE: A picture perfect fall evening on the rooftop of The Contemporary Austin – Jones Center was the place to be for Austin’s most notable Sociables and fashion trend-setters. The launch of ModXMan, Austin’s premier digital and experiential platform for the sophisticated and stylish man attracted several hundred men (and those who love him) for a truly memorable evening.
THE VIBE: The chic-clad crowd was on full display as men donned a uniquely Austin mix of suits, sportcoats and high-end casual while the women wore outdoor-chic attire that perfectly complemented the men in the room. The evening was full of one-of-a-kind experiences for guests leaving something for everyone to enjoy.
As the elevator doors opened, partygoers were ushered to the red carpet opportunity to snap pictures commemorating the evening, which was sponsored by Lights Fantastic, who also had their high-end decorative lighting on display throughout the venue. The fun continued guests listened to the tunes spun by DJ Amy Edwards, while MyEventIsTheBomb.com provided two live action photo booths where people could chronicle their experience.
As one ventured through the space, they were treated to several contemporary lounging areas as well four experiential bars provided by Moontower Rentals. The event featured cocktails for every type of palate. Balcones Distilling provided whiskey-lovers to sample their top-of the line whiskey, while Sway Water offered vodka and gin signature cocktails provided by Cinco Vodka and Seersucker Gin. For those looking to enjoy a glass of wine or bubbles on a beautiful fall evening, they could sample Chloe Wines at the wine bar. For an international flair, Global Lux Food & Beverage provided a sampling of Italian-based beer, cider and soda along with a signature cocktail combing the soda with a delicious Pinot Blanco. Guests were provided a ModXMan signature cupcake courtesy of Sprinkles Cupcakes giving them a perfect memento for what was an incredibly sweet evening in Austin.
