THE SCENE: The newly-opened Tom Ford store in Houston’s new elite shopping destination, River Oaks District, was recently the scene for an evening that not only celebrated the Texas-born fashion icon’s stand alone boutique, but also where the art of giving back was on full display for one of Houston’s most cherished and respected institutions, the Menil Collection.

Guests dined on a delicious three-course meal, with one course generously donated by some of Houston’s top culinary destinations – PAX Americana, Helen Greek Food and Wine and Bistro Menil. The culinary trio of delight featured three deliciously perfect courses each expertly paired with a wine suitable for even the most distinguished palate.

THE VIBE: Guests from across the world and Houston’s social elite elegantly mixed wearing high cocktail and black-tie attire, which created an aura of sophistication that was both glam and chic. Guests who jetted in included chairman of Tom Ford International Domenico De Sole and his wife Eleanore, Bradley Radoff from New York and Luca Somoza in from Paris.

THE CAUSE: This spectacular evening, chaired by Becca Cason Thrash, raised over $500,000 for the Menil Collection, the internationally renowned art museum in Houston that houses both special and permanent collection of highly acclaimed and esteemed artists.
