THE SCENE: Under a wide-open Texas sky, the 45th annual Witte Game Dinner exceed all expectations, which were already high. In keeping with the evening’s theme, guests from all over the state kept it wild as they dined and danced under the legendary big, bright stars of Texas. In fact, it was a night of fun as Texans come together to raise funds for one of San Antonio’s most beloved historical treasure troves.

THE VIBE: Country music’s legendary Bellamy Brothers set the tone in Brackenridge Park for the western-chic celebration. Held in the park during this year of transformation for the museum, the change of venue only added to the sense of adventure for this well-loved soirée. This year’s honoree, the City of San Antonio itself, provided the perfect backdrop for chairs Ginny and Randy Cadwallader to welcome guests for a night of fabulous entertainment and Lone Star cuisine provided by the RK Group.

THE CAUSE: The Witte Game Dinner serves to benefit the educational programs, exhibitions and daily operations of the Witte Museum. It promotes lifelong learning through innovative exhibits, programs and collections in natural history, science and South Texas heritage.
