THE SCENE: The Night of Mystery, the Mind Science Foundation’s annual fundraising gala, was as dazzling and mysterious as in year’s past. Guests, clad in “imaginative and dreamy” black tie as the invitation stated, enjoyed the evening of frolic at The Argyle Club.

THE VIBE: Dreamscape was theme of the event that is always a favorite of the social season. Guests were transported to a beautiful and mysterious dreamland, leaving the waking self behind and searching for hidden treasures in the nooks and crannies of the Argyle…experiencing magical adventures reminiscent of founder Tom Slick’s journeys through the imagination. After guests dined and danced the night away, plans were already in the works for next year’s successful gala.

THE CAUSE: The event’s co-chairs were Alice and Sergio Viroslav and Stacey and Jamo Rubin. All proceeds from the evening supported the important programs of the Mind Science Foundation, including its distinguished speakers series and cutting-edge research that explores the burgeoning field of neuroscience. Its founder Tom Slick believed that the human mind was the most important frontier for scientific study; and that by understanding it, we could make our world a better place.
