Austinite Holly Mills-Gardner thinks so and this blonde is everywhere. On TV as a host on Netflix, AMC & Longhorn Network, at galas, and supporting all the people, places and things she loves. In fact, she’s co-emceeing the Center For Child Protection’s Dancing with the Stars gala in December with our very own Lance Avery Morgan, who caught up with her to learn about her latest obsessions.

Best career advice I have received is…Stay true to yourself and to your values because it’s the only path to lifelong success.

Three qualities that got me where I am today are…Humility, self-confidence and grace.

How I made my first dollar… Was when I was in elementary school and modeled for a JCPenney’s Sunday newspaper ad — I thought that was “big-time”…I think I made $25.

First album I bought was…Michael Jackson’s Thriller (it’s still my all-time favorite).

If I could live in a foreign city it would be…Cape Town, South Africa. I fell in love with “The Mother City” during my first visit 16 years ago. I’t’s truly a wonder of wonders.

My all-time favorite style icon is…Marilyn Monroe. She was way ahead of her time as true style visionary and influencer in every aspect of her life.

What everyone/woman should try in her lifetime is…To go blonde, at least once. I’ve tried many hair colors and blondes really do you have more fun.

If I could compete in an Olympic sport it would be…That’s a no-brainer – it would be golf. Although, the adventure seeker in me would want to do the Bobsled, too.

The beauty essential you’d have to pry out of my cold dry hands is…Intellishade tinted moisturizer by Revision Skincare. It’s a sunscreen, moisturizer, and tinted makeup base all in one. I’m obsessed.

My perfect day would end…With my toes in the sand & a glass of rosè in hand, with my boys by my side, feeling that Bahamian “island vibe”.
