THE SCENE: The pastoral lawn of San Antonio’s historic Argyle club provided the ideal setting for the 13th Annual Le Brunch des Chapeaux benefiting the Autism Community Network. It was Paris, Paris, Paris as the City of Love’s inimitable style took center stage at the event. Over 400 guests dined on chic luncheon fare as San Antonio style star, Julian Gold, presented stunning spring fashions for all to enjoy.
THE VIBE: Guests were received in true red carpet style as they were welcomed and photographed crossing the step-and-repeat in their beautifully festive chapeaux. Many of the sublime designs worn by guests set the pace for the busy social season. From Eiffel Tower-themed hats to pastel shades of macarons, the terrific toppers were a highlight of the event.
THE CAUSE: The Parisian Fashion theme and decor were the vision of co-chair Holly Besing of Holly Besing Designs who, with the help of her wonderful committee, designed and created most of the 50 table centerpieces. Autism Community Network was founded in the summer of 2008 in order to help meet the needs of the growing number of children with autism in the San Antonio area. ACN’s mission is to maximize the potential of children with autism by providing early diagnosis for those with limited access, and educating and empowering the community to support them.
